Challenge

As the school system's connection with society and other aspects is minimal, it pushes children, parents & teachers towards marks and then jobs market instead of exploring the immense potential within children's own thought process. This in turn leads to rush & pressure for exams and in future life rush for more money instead of slow and creative outlook. This also leads to mental health issues and suicides, as if exams are the end of life.

Our Approach

The Vacuum Space focuses on building a research-mindset among children & youths from an young age. Our events conducted by MagicMakers become the entry-point activities for children, parents and teachers, where together we express ourselves through different art mediums . We aim to build the readiness of children & youths in dealing with different failures created by our society eg. exams & jobs. And we do this by letting them explore, experiment and experience through our lose-structured environment in the local community events and fearlessly imagine & create something new. The ultimate achievement is helping them find a problem of their own to research on in their life. What if there can be a career that has not yet been created? 😉maneuvering in uncertainty!

Chaos in Structure

The Vacuum Space is a research-based non-profit organization. We lead by examples. We research and conduct outreach. We believe in local community development with the resources they have. We have our own example areas where we experiment these approaches, for eg. Sports, Education, Theatre, Nature and Waste.  We are interested in spaces in general or what environment a space can create. We support organizations in these areas. We design. We create. We imagine. We play. We create an attitude to be ok even in uncertainty.
